murakami/Nelson designed two pharmacy teaching laboratories to accommodate new state-of-the-art program requirements, and to comply with current fire/life safety requirements. Traditional existing wet lab benches and utilities were removed and replaced by desk height counters with built in computer monitors. Flexible interior furnishings allow the lab to convert to a wide variety of uses - from computer assisted teaching, student centered learning and team research to collaborative teaching between other institutions and pharmacy schools. Both labs optimize information collection and analysis from a wide variety of health-related sources.
