murakami/Nelson has planned and designed more than 11 million dollars worth of new and rehabilitated intercollegiate athletic facilities on the Berkeley campus. Included in the work are the I.W. Hellman Tennis Complex, the rehabilitation of Harmon Arena, Spieker Aquatics Complex, Edwards Track, and Evans Diamond.

Also designed within the existing shell of California Memorial Stadium were new coaches' and administrative offices, training quarters, equipment rooms, varsity football locker rooms, a weight room, and a "Hall of Fame" room displaying memorabilia representing over one hundred years of achievement in men's intercollegiate athletics.
